The gradient line is one of the Effect controls. For example, in Glow effect the gradient line allows to set a multi-colored glow with smooth color transitions.
The gradient line contains two sliders.
To choose a color it is necessary to double click by the left mouse button on a slider and select a color. The glow center is located on a gradient line on the left.
In order to select a color it is necessary to fulfill the following operations:
left click on the color pad, as a result the color palette will be opened, and the mouse pointer will change on a dropper;
select color by one of the following methods:
from the palette, for this purpose you should move the dropper on the graphic palette and select a color by a left-click,
from the color dialog (opens by a click on the color wheel in the right upper corner of the palette),
from an original image or from any other point of the screen, for this purpose you should move the dropper on the screen and select a color by a left-click,
as an averaged color, for this purpose you should select a rectangular area of the image by dragging the cursor while holding the left mouse button and Alt key pressed.
Sliders are added by a double click on the gradient line. It is possible to add no more than six sliders. Right-click on a slider to remove it.
To move a slider it is necessary to bring the cursor on it, push left mouse button and, holding it, move the slider to the right/to the left.
